GeoLoqal's mission is to help application developers make more money by jumping on the SoLoMo bandwagon. We are now looking for a social media/community manager to join our Dynamic Content team and make our social presence go truly viral, partnering with our Web/ PR/ Marketing/ Research teams to engage key audiences and expand our reach and influence while finding new channels for our unique content. This includes not only working with social media but also user groups like linkedin, Android and iOS user groups, stackoverflow, location based services user groups - basically where application developers are :-) Responsibilities: --------------------------------------------- - Content programming: Serve as GeoLoqal's content master, recruiting guest post writers, editing and writing posts, and serving up a steady stream of engaging, informative, SEO-optimized content that reflects GeoLoqal's POV on key industry trends. - Community building: Use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other channels to actively and constantly engage a growing following of application developers. - Campaign execution: Deploy audience-driven social campaigns that help amplify our online marketing campaign efforts. - Outreach/PR: Reach out to bloggers in our vertical (location based services) to get them to write about GeoLoqal. - Drive insights from data: Use social monitoring platforms and dashboards to listen across channels, obsessively track metrics and steer content accordingly. - Help lead the strategy: Stay one step ahead of trends and help us stay focused on goals. - User support: Be willing to and easily field support tickets via email, Facebook, Twitter, and phone messages (of course, we will help you with this too!).
